Meet Your Occupational Therapist
Miriam P. Kennetz, MOTR/L
Owner, Occupational Therapist
I was born in Mexico City and immigrated to the United States with my family when I was 2; I have called Memphis home since then. I am the eldest of six children and my youngest brother received therapy services through TEIS from a young age. This was my first exposure to the rehab world and I instantly fell in love with the OT profession.
I attended the University of Memphis and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I received my Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. My clinical experience includes: acute inpatient care, mental health inpatient care, school-based practice, and early intervention.
I am married with two spunky children (the original “Kennetz Kids”, ages 3 and 5). When I’m not chasing my little balls of energy, I enjoy: eating locally, crafting, reading non-fiction books, galavanting around farmer’s markets, and outdoor hangs. My guilty pleasure is reality TV (Bravo, if you’re curious).
I like to work hard and play hard!
